HOW LONG SHOULD A WEDDING CEREMONY BE?

Timing on your wedding day is important so I'll do everything I can to make sure your wedding ceremony starts and finishes on time. You don't want to miss out on getting your photos in before the party starts! So how do I keep your ceremony to time?

No, I won't be looking at my watch! But I what I will have done long before we're standing up the front together on your wedding day, is create a ceremony that fits beautifully within the 30 minutes that I think is the sweet spot for a great ceremony. If you write super long personal vows, I'll cut back my sections without losing the integrity of your marriage ceremony. I'll also make the signing of certificates as quick as possible, giving you enough time to catch your breath and soak up that moment knowing you're married, but not too long that your guests start to get fidgety.

So what does a 30 minute ceremony look like?

Here's my suggestion of how your ceremony can flow and still have everything you want.

Your wedding day is going to fly by and before you know it you'll be heading off on your honeymoon. So enjoy every single moment!

One last tip. In your wedding schedule, put in time for you and your partner to find a quiet spot and share a drink and talk about how you're feeling, before joining your guests again.
